Our 3 days 2 nights Samburu National Reserve wildlife safari starts from Nairobi / JKIA Airport at your hotel or residence. It’s a short safari away from the city and an opportunity to get exposed to the northern Kenya frontier. Traverse the major regions of Kenya and view Mt Kenya at a distance. You will witness the Special five animals in Samburu National Reserve such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy Zebras, Reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk (Giraffe Antelope), Somali Ostrich, among other big cats like the Leopard and the Lions.
Highlights
Our driver guide will pick you from the your hotel at 0630hrs or Airport and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch at the reserved lodge or camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive as from 1600hrs until dusk.

This day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. You can also opt to visit the cultural visits within the area.
Samburu Game Reserve offers a wide range of attractions. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastoralists. Owasso Nyiro River which runs along the southern boundary is home to crocodile and hippo with the many animals visiting to drink during the heat of the day. In Samburu you are likely to spot buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and other plains game.
