Eco Tourism

Lets talk about sustainable tourism

What is Eco Tourism” … “Green Tourism”….”Sustainable Tourism” ?
There are several ways to that and as a business that has included the term “Eco” in our name and brand, I can name you just a few that justifies this. We prefer organizing trips for smaller groups rather than big groups. We work together with Safari camps and resorts that generate their energy through solar, rather than through conventional power sources. We seek out restaurants that use local products in their menus rather than canned goods or imported goods. We encourage our travelers not to pack using plastic bags, pack light and bring only the essentials and we encourage them to act on your trip like you would be at home, being conscious with using water, towels and bed sheets, turn lights off when it’s nit needed, etc…… We organize our travels rather overland than using aircraft. We stay on the beaten tracks wherever we go …
“Vespers Safaris” wants to be a leading safari tour operator in Kenya, but are we doing enough and how can we all reduce our carbon footprint while at the same time we travel to experience a unique world and its plants and animals in it.
