Get adventurous and visit Kenya’s and Tanzania’s famous national parks. Maasai Mara is famous for its high population of wildlife throughout the year. While in Tanzania Serengeti, it is as good as Maasai Mara though it’s bigger! You will have ample opportunity to spot different wildlife that can be found in Africa. This safari is as fun as it can get, come and collect memories that will last a lifetime!
Highlights
You will be picked up from your hotel or airport at 8:00 a.m. and be transferred to the office before departing for the Masaai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley view-point for scenic views. You will stop at Narok town for lunch. Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver or guide. Dinner and overnight will be at Lenchada Tented Camp or similar.
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for a game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for a close range viewing and photography.
After the game, you will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Later in the evening, you can do an optional Maasai Village visit. Dinner and overnight will be at Lenchada Tented Camp or similar.
You will have early morning pre-breakfast game drive and after your game drive, you will return for a full breakfast. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Naivasha with lunch en route arriving later in the afternoon, with optional of boat ride at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel such as Taphe Resort or similar.
After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive at the Hell’s Gate National Park. In this park, you can drive, cycle, and do the rock climbing with beautiful scenic views of the gorges near the shoreline. Afterwards, you will drive to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon just in time to catch the afternoon shuttle to Arusha.
You will arrive in Arusha in the evening and check in your hotel for an overnight and dinner. You will stay at Green Mountain Hotel or similar on your first night in Tanzania.
Today you will have early morning breakfast. Then, you will be picked up to start off your Tanzania tour with the Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy approximately a six hours game drive in this park bringing picnic lunch with you. Later, you will check in to Panarama Campsite for your dinner and overnight. You will stay at Panaroma Campsite or similar accommodation on this day.
You will have morning breakfast and then depart with picnic lunches for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive round and down the crater with the most amazing scenic views in the region with a sighting of different wildlife. Later on, you will drive to Manyara for an overnight and dinner at the campsite. You will stay at Simba Campsite or similar accommodation on this day.
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive at the park with sightings of wildlife in the area and the beautiful Lake. You will leave the park in good time to arrive in Arusha to catch the afternoon shuttle back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you can be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight or a hotel for an overnight.
