Amboseli

Amboseli national park is most famous for the best place to get close to free-ranging elephants in the world. The Park also allows having views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Amboseli Park is home to African bush elephant, Egyptian goose, Masai giraffe, cheetah, Cape buffalo, zebra, impala, and blue wildebeest. The Park host 80 different mammals and over 400 small and large birds too.
To reach Amboseli national park, one should take the main road into the Park from Nairobi via Namanga in an off-road vehicle due to tarmacked route.
The Park also allows meeting Maasai and Maasai village. The vegetation of Amboseli National park is sparse due to prolonged dry months, and this is the best opportunity of viewing African wildlife. The dry season between June to October is considered the best season to visit Amboseli national park.
